Derek is an accomplished staffing professional with a proven track record of success in sales, client relationship management, and leadership roles. He holds a degree in information systems from St. Louis University. He has spent the majority of his career working in the staffing industry, building his expertise in enterprise-level account management.
With his deep understanding of the tech staffing industry and his commitment to client success, Derek is a valuable asset to the AEG team. We’re thrilled at the ways he drives growth and expansion for our business partners.
When you were 5 years old, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A St. Louis Cardinal!
What was your first job?
I worked at my grandpa’s golf course. I spent my time cutting grass and weed eating, and I occasionally got to change the hole locations on the greens.
If you were stranded on a desert island and were allowed three books, what three would you take?
I’d take Can’t Hurt Me: Master Your Mind and Defy the Odds by David Goggins, Relentless: From Good to Great to Unstoppable by Tim Grover, and Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win by Jocko Willink and Leif Babin.
What’s your favorite piece of technology of all time?
The original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) or any iPhone.
What's something completely random that nobody would've guessed about you?
Titanic is my favorite movie.
