Tell us about what you do at AEG.
I’m an account manager responsible for building and maintaining strong partnerships with our clients.
How long have you been with the company?
Since February of 2022.
What inspires you most about working on the AEG team?
I love watching how connected the team is with one another and seeing everyone’s desire for collaboration. We have a teams win environment (as opposed to winners win). Each person lives our values with integrity, doing what’s right each day for our clients and our candidates.
How does AEG support your career and personal goals?
I truly feel supported in my development professionally, and I’m given the flexibility to have a healthy work life balance. In recent years, I’ve seen more and more companies understanding and embracing the concept of providing both personal and professional value to their employees. AEG is always ahead of the game and has a long history of doing just that.
What’s the #1 quality you feel is important to achieving success in the staffing industry? Building genuine relationships that result in long-term partnerships is the most important ability for me to have as an account manager. Understanding my clients personally and aligning with their goals helps me be a better partner and brings them the most value possible.
What are the toughest challenges you’ve had at work? The biggest wins?
The toughest challenge: In the post covid world, we see a lot of clients going back to a hybrid schedule, and it can be challenging at times to find candidates that align with those expectations.
The biggest win: It’s been so rewarding to see the impact we make by finding the right talent for our clients and finding life-changing roles for our candidates.
What’s a unique trait or something that differentiates you from others in your position?
I focus on bringing value to my clients, truly aligning with their goals and vision for their teams and developing long term relationships. I’m not one for transactional relationships—I aim to understand each client’s unique needs.
What’s the biggest benefit to partnering with a staffing firm in a job search/search for talent?
We are experts at finding quality candidates and resources, no matter the project. Leaning on a staffing firm like AEG helps you save time and money while maximizing your resources.
If you could give one piece of advice to a candidate/client, what would it be?
For the client, spend time going through each role with the account manager to set clear expectations for your ideal candidate. When we are aligned with the requirements of the role, we can speed up the process of finding great talent.
What’s your favorite thing to do in St. Louis?
I always love going to watch the Cardinals and Blues play at Busch Stadium!
