AEG Employee Spotlight: Kaitlyn Klott, Intern
What are you studying in college, and why did you choose that major? Are you part of any groups on campus?
I’m studying textile and apparel management at the University of Missouri, focusing on apparel retailing and digital merchandising, with a minor in business.
Do you have a job at college? If so, what is it?
Yes, I work as a bartender at Campus Bar and Grill, and I also run their social media accounts.
Why did you choose AEG and Staffing for your internship?
I chose AEG because of the welcoming environment and the people. I love communicating with candidates and helping them find jobs.
What are you looking to learn from this internship at AEG?
I want to learn how to recruit candidates and see them through the entire hiring process. I also aim to understand the roles we’re hiring for better, so I can identify the perfect candidates for them.
How does AEG support your career and personal goals?
They are very encouraging and want me to succeed. I’ve learned so much just in my first week at AEG.
What’s the most important quality for success in the staffing industry?
Personality and the ability to connect with candidates are crucial for success in staffing.
What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work and school?
I love taking pictures with my camera for the bar I work at and for my friends.
Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I started taking graduation pictures in college for fun, which turned into a side job. This allowed me to market myself on social media.
What’s your favorite thing to do in St. Louis?
I enjoy going to summer concerts at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.
