AEG Employee Spotlight: Ethan Ormson, Intern

What are you studying in college, and why did you choose that major? Are you part of any groups on campus?

I’m pursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, because I’m interested in improving my communication and comprehension skills. I’m a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity and the Mizzou Electronic Music Organization.

 

Do you have a job at college? If so, what is it?

Yes, I work as a cook and a bouncer at Campus Bar and Grill.

 

Why did you choose AEG for your internship?

My father has been in staffing since I was little, which sparked my interest in it. My passion for building relationships and helping people find job opportunities is the main reason I chose AEG and staffing.

 

What are you looking to learn from this internship at AEG?

I want to better understand the process of recruiting and placing candidates in roles that suit them.

 

How does AEG support your career and personal goals?

AEG provides me with knowledge and experience in my desired career path. It also challenges me to be self-motivated and excel in a competitive workplace.

 

What’s the most important quality for success in the staffing industry?

The ability to generate conversation and build relationships is crucial for success in staffing.

 

What’s your favorite thing to do outside of work and school?

I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
