There are lots of words to describe 2025 so far: challenging, volatile, and uncertain come to mind. But the AEG team has risen to the occasion, breaking company records and scoring major wins in the face of trying times.
This success isn’t ours alone. It’s a collective effort, shared with some of the best professionals and companies in the world (in other words, you!). Because of these wins, AEG is positioned to deliver even stronger outcomes in this year’s second half.

99% Revenue Growth Compared to Last Year
So far, AEG is on track to double our revenue from last year. Thanks to our shared success with candidates, clients, and partners, we have the resources to increase our impact and provide even stronger support.
Highest Number of Interviews on Record in Q1
The AEG team kicked off the year with a record-setting first quarter, landing the most interviews in the company’s history. To mark this historic accomplishment, we took the team out for a scenic view of the Mississippi in Grafton, IL to celebrate. As you can tell from the picture below, everyone is beaming with pride.
Top Performer of the Quarter: Ellie Watkins
For the second consecutive quarter in 2025, Ellie Watkins secured the title of Top Performer. We’re thankful for and proud of the work she does day in and day out. And she definitely raises the bar for the rest of the team.
First Placement at (Another) Global Enterprise Client
AEG’s impact continues to expand, as we recently placed our first candidate at another global enterprise client. This further demonstrates the impact and outcomes that we bring to companies of all sizes.

Supporting Autism Speaks at 2025 St. Louis Golf Classic
For our third consecutive year, AEG teed off for a great cause, supporting Autism Speaks and raising awareness and support for families affected by autism.
Donation to the Boone Center Inc.
AEG was proud to support the Boone Center, Inc., (BCI), an organization committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) find fulfilling jobs that align with their skills and interests. Our own Ellie Watkins and Eric Ormson dropped off a $1,500 donation—although it’s possible the donuts they brought were the more popular gift.
Attended Our First American Nuclear Society (ANS) Conference
Our own Christopher Rakel, Eric Ormson, and Emille Koebbe represented AEG for the first time at the 2025 American Nuclear Society (ANS) conference in Chicago. As AEG continues to deliver staffing results for nuclear power companies, this conference gave us the opportunity to make friends, learn from smart leaders in the industry, and even brighten someone’s day with a Jeroboam Caymus bottle giveaway.

Evan J. Cholfin’s A Healthier Happier You is more than a business podcast. It’s an exploration into redefining what it means to live well, and our own Chris Rakel was thrilled to join the conversation. Chris and Evan discussed the human side of hiring, the energy sector’s next wave of innovation, and what leadership looks like in a rapidly evolving job market.
2025’s First “Wheel of Fashion” Fun Day
Just because we’re serious about work doesn’t mean we can’t let loose. We recently celebrated 2025’s first Wheel of Fashion event, where the team dressed up in groutfits, ‘80s attire, PJs, and even Adam-Sandler chic. Ethan Ormson walked away as the winner with a Starbucks gift card for his unicorn costume.
